What We Offer

Think about milking a cow or chopping woods or opening your eyes to beautiful green farms, lowing cattle and crowing cockerels, that’s exactly what we offer at Rayri Kinara! Rayri – the ancient name for Raigad and Kinara – beaches is an amalgamation of two villages – Sarve and Adgaon.

The best thing about homestays at Rayri Kinara is the sumptuous Konkani Cuisine cooked on wood-fire from freshly grown organic vegetables from the nearby fields. For non vegetarians, we have delicious sea food too. The hosts are veryfriendly and helpful.

From washing ones’ stress and worries by bathing in rejuvenating waterfalls to watching the sun set on an empty beach front or just take long walks, the village tourism committee opens up hidden gems for tourists. Blessed with unconquered forts, rich forests and clean coastlines, the stay at Rayri Kinara is sure to leave memorable footprints.

Visitors can take classes in local cooking from the village women. From trying your hands on making coconut modaks to preparing Konkani dishes using fresh vegetables on wood-fire, this two-hour workshop is worth a try!

The local guide will take you through all the picturesque locations for some lovely pictures. The skeletal remains of a whale, sunrise and sunset, flora and fauna along with Scores of colourfully painted boats moored alongside the beaches are ideal props for some beautiful pictures.

The local farmers will give tips and lessons on organic farming. From growing green chillies, coriander, and other fruits and vegetables, this workshop will help in cutting down your intake of harmful pesticides injected food items.
